The foremost focus of Urban Connection Ministries is to be a stepping stone into positive relationships and into a church family, and to break the cycle of dependency that keeps people in bondage to generational poverty.
Our mission statement is “Connecting the Disconnected.” With so much of our culture being self focused and disconnected, we are working hard to reverse this attitude in our students. Spiritual, career, family & parenting formation, as well as life skills development, broadening an individual’s sense of community and worldview are addressed as we minister to the whole person. As they learn new perspectives and skills, we expect them to reinvest responsibly into their own community.
